The Word Is Murder by Anthony Horowitz

“The Word is Murder” by Anthony Horowitz – a Review.

When I’m on these trips, I have quite a lot of time to read. In fact reading has always been my favorite hobby. So, I take the time to review the books I’ve read, if they are worth reviewing.

No spoilers. This book started slow, which is why I only ended up giving in 4 stars on Goodreads. However, once it picks up, with an absolutely SHOCKING event that I genuinely was not anticipating, it fires away.

I will definitely be picking up a copy of his next book, “The Sentence is Death.”

Bye for now!

Tuesday Thrifting

Today I went to the thrift store just to pick up some goodies. I was kinda sad and that always makes me feel better! Anyways, the reason I’m sharing this is because the man who owned the store was dressed in a full leather cow boy outfit and he looked at me and said I was “more adorable than a basket of bunnies” and seeing me “made his whole week.” He then proceeded to ask me to “smoke a dooby.”

He was at LEAST 70.

Regardless, I got some great Agatha Christie novels for only a dollar each! Super sweet.

That’s all for today guys!

“The Girl On The Train” – Review

I would give the book a solid 4/5 stars. I’m a sucker for an unreliable narrator, let alone multiple. The beginning was a little slow, but the end was totally worth it.

I won’t ruin it with any spoilers for those of you who haven’t read it.

The movie… all I have to say is holy EMILY BLUNT IS AMAZING. The cinematography and the rest of the cast were very below average but she stole the show.

Happy reading,
